ArtWorks & Flying Pig Marathon Mural - Community Vote

ArtWorks and Flying Pig Marathon are teaming up to honor the Marathon's 20th anniversary! This summer, ArtWorks youth Apprentices (ages 14-21) will paint a large-scale celebratory mural on the Hyatt Regency Hotel at 5th and Elm Streets. 20 local artists are competing for design rights. Which will make it to the finish line? You decide!

Vote for your favorite through Race Day, May 7th.

Everyone who votes will be entered to win two roundtrip tickets to New York or Chicago via Ultimate Air Shuttle and a three night hotel stay!

He is a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design, where he received his BFA, and Maryland Institute, College of Art, where he received his MFA. Larry considers himself a mixed-media artist working in a variety of techniques including printmaking, drawing, and collage.

Jim is a Cincinnati native and works as a professional illustrator. He is a graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Jim's work is most recognizable from his illustrations of the annual Bockfest posters and other brewery-related imagery seen around Cincinnati. Jim enjoys painting realistic landscapes and portraits that portray a hint of impressionism.
